But now, you know this but you’re going to look at it, and you’re going to see it exactly the same way. It doesn’t change how your mind perceives it. I can teach you how these illusions work. I could teach you the vision science behind it, which I’m not going to do. It’s still not going to change how you see it.
And this is the part of the G.I. Joe Fallacy. This idea that knowing is half the battle. It’s not. We actually have to do all kinds of stuff other than just knowing stuff to change our behavior. If we really want to change our behavior, we have to change habits. We can’t just learn the stuff.
